Fleet
The 9 members of the Pelagic Freezer-trawler Association (PFA) own and operate in total 26 freezer-trawlers.
Approximately 700 crewmembers are working on board of the PFA-fleet.
The length of the vessels ranges from 70 to 140 meters.
All these vessels have freezing equipment on board. The older vessels have been reconstructed over the years with, amongst others, up-to-date freezing and processing facilities on board in order to achieve the same high quality standards as the latest generation of freezer-trawlers. |
